What do we learn?

Get to know about the vineyards and the people who make the wines, as a lot of the speakers have met them, the conditions the vines are grown in, the terrain and you will be astonished at the enormous amount of different grape varieties. It is not just about Australian Chardonnay.

Tasting sheets are provided for you to write down any comments on so you will remember details about the wines. You will be given two glasses, which you will keep and bring to each meeting as sometimes it is good to compare two wines side by side.

You get the chance to ask questions, if you don’t understand something, ask, because maybe some others don’t understand either, it could be a word that only ‘professional wine’ people use, or something about how it is made, even how long will it keep before it passes its best.
